Hi. My name is Justin.

I always loved being creative as a young kid, often drawing when not playing sports. That love of sports and creativity led me to graduate from Boise State University (GO BRONCOS!) with a degree in communication and journalism, with hopes of becoming a sports reporter.

As a journalist with the Idaho Press, my favorite stories were profiles on people. I loved learning the “why” behind politicians, athletes, farmers, etc. Every interview proved that interesting stories are around every corner, just waiting to be told.

After that, I had the opportunity to work in a college marketing department, and my passion for storytelling expanded to photography and video.

Today I provide media solutions for business owners. I’ve found that a lot of people are passionate about their business, but they don’t always know how to tell their story well. That’s where I come in, taking each unique story and showcasing them through moving films, beautiful photographs, clear and concise websites, social media, writing, and more.

I also own a wedding/family/lifestyle photography business (Needle & Pine) with my wife.

In my free time, you’ll find me as far away from a computer as possible—hiking, camping, fishing, and exploring my beautiful state of Idaho.
